A fan asked why I always point with both hands towards the sky like I was thanking God after every FG.
I raise my hands up and point to my Lord and Savior. I am giving thanks for all the blessing as well as giving glory to God. God gave his son who was sacrificed for our sins. I believe what I do on the field is a gift from God and I'm to use it for His will and His Glory. We are called to serve and live Christ like. Even though I fall short of that I am trying to live my life on and off the field that way.
I hope this answers your question. May God bless you.
David

It is refreshing to see a professional athlete believe this and not be ashamed to say it! I thank God every night for the gifts he gave me - my two lovely daughters! I also ask him every night to keep my students safe (I teach in a poor area, Chester PA)

That is what makes you awesome. Being blessed with a gift, and letting the one who gave you your gift, that you are thankful.

God comes first Thomas, even before family. That is important. Without him there is no family. He is our Father.
