In 2002, he was named to the Syracuse Board of Trustees (one of the youngest trustees to have served there). He plans to use his degree when his playing days are over to become a broadcaster.

Trivia: Played in the 1996 NCAA Men's Div. I Basketball Tournament national championship game for Syracuse as a reserve guard.
