The mission of the Jarvis Green Foundation is to provide for single working mothers of at least 2 kids that have sustained a loss and will have to be below a given amount of income support. Families of any board members will not be considered.
A Louisiana native, Green was deeply touched by the devastation that Hurricane Katrina caused. He has since committed himself to helping the victims, especially single mothers, get their lives back on track and remain in the hearts and minds of others who may be able to help.
The Jarvis Green Foundation is registered as a not for profit 501(c) 3 organization status.

Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative of New Orleans is a neighborhood-based nonprofit homebuilder that provides families with healthy and energy efficient affordable housing opportunities.
We partner with neighborhood residents, organizations and businesses to create and maintain a stable and thriving community.
Jericho Road was formed in March 2006 and is a partnership of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana and Episcopal Relief & Development. Episcopal Relief & Development, the international relief and development agency of the Episcopal Church, focuses on three program areas— emergency relief and rebuilding, food security and primary health. Episcopal Relief & Development is providing technical support to Jericho Road and supplied the initial funding totaling $2.3 million. The funding from Episcopal Relief & Development combined with planned financing from various community development corporations will result in an investment in the New Orleans Central City neighborhood of over $20 million.
You can donate your money or your time to help rebuild Central City. Both are needed and both are appreciated. Your contributions go directly to homebuyers to help them meet the financial qualifications necessary to purchase a home.
