Four-year letter winner (2003-2006) at Boston College, started all 37 contests (34 at RG; 3 at C) in final 3 seasons and 39-of-50 games played overall during collegiate career. Became school's first player to receive AP first-team All-America honors in five years after senior season. Also named Atlantic Coast Conference's most valuable blocker during final year. He won the 2006 Scanlan Award an award given by the Boston College Varsity Club Award to the senior football player outstanding in scholarship, leadership, and athletic ability.
