Barkann is an award winning sports host, anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNet and The USA Network .In 1997, Barkann began his current role as host/anchor at Comcast SportsNet, Philadelphia. On October 1, 1997 he brought the network on the air as host of Daily News Live, Eagles Post Game Live and Monday Night Live for Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia. He also is a frequent host of Sixers Post Game Live, Flyers Post Game Live and occasionally Phillies Post Game Live. He was originally the host of a program called Spotlight, which interviewed local and national athletes.
