Hey There! So now begins my second installment of the Quintin Mikell OTAs blog. The first week went pretty well. The guys were flying around and making plays getting all of their checks and just having fun!! Also, and this is my favorite part, we were frustrating the heck out of the offense. This week has started out pretty much the same way last week did. The focus this week is on some of our important games this year. Today we looked at some Redskins plays from last year and got  a little bit of a head start on what we would like to do against them or better yet what they would like to try and do against us. 

Asante was not there today and he may not be back before camp. So that makes both of our starting corners not being there for OTAs. Now a lot of teams would be nervous about that but I am not. I know both Sant and Shel are very motivated and very professional about their jobs and will definitely be ready for the season. That being said this is a time for our young corners to step up and start making a name for themselves! I think that after today some will definitely step up and be ready!! I am still very much excited about this season. 

And on another note I have to say that the Mikell house is buzzing right now. We are getting all set to welcome a new member of the family!! We have a new baby boy on the way and he is due any day now and I am getting so excited!! I just can't wait to see what he looks like!! My poor wife is going through it right now!! She is in a lot of pain and swollen and everything and not to mention she has to chase around our 2 year old son while I am at work as well poor thing she is struggling. God Bless her!! Quintin
