Cardinals wide out Anquan Boldin has a new agent. He sat out minicamp last month, citing a sore hamstring, and has been a no-show in recent voluntary workouts. He has said he’s wanted out of Arizona, but since the team found no takers when they tried to trade him, it seems like the best move for both sides is to make a fair contract offer.

While Anquan is away in this contract dispute, Steve Breaston has moved up to the No. 2 wide receiver spot for the Arizona Cardinals.

Kurt Warner said Boldin's absence will help all the young receivers.  "So much of this game is getting reps and seeing things live," Warner said. "It's one thing to talk about it in a meeting room or draw it on a board or see it on film, it's completely another thing to see it in front of you. That's where it gets valuable for Steve running with the No. 1 against the No. 1 defense, but also for the guys that are moving up a step behind him."

Will Anquan have a spot in the 2009/10 Cardinals lineup if he holds out much longer?
