There has been one regular host of Daily News Live over the same period, so at least the company believes in continuity in one area. Maybe it's time to put Michael Barkann in charge of the teams.

"Daily News Live" will air from Citizens Bank Park today at 5 p.m. on the Comcast Network and begin the pregame coverage before Game 5 of the World Series.

Comcast's Michael Barkann made his usual Friday morning stop to talk Philly sports with us. There was quite a bit of World Series talk (surprised?!) but Michael spent plenty of time breaking down the other game this weekend... that being the Birds taking on divisional rivals, the New York Giants! Special editions of "Daily News Live" are part of Comcast SportsNet's extended coverage of the World Series. "DNL" airs weeknights from 5 to 6 p.m. with host Michael Barkann and members of the DN sports staff.

CSN will air "Phillies Pregame Live" and "Phillies Postgame Live" with former Phillies Ricky Bottalico and Darren Daulton, and other guests. "Race2Repeat," a 30-minute program, is shown at 10:30 p.m. on any Phillies off days. Also, look for expanded editions of "SportsNite."
